What is a highly-engaged prospect?
A highly-engaged prospect is an individual you are connected with that fits your ideal customer profile. Typically, you will have interacted at least 10 times on LinkedIn, either in direct messages, by commenting on a post, or by viewing your profile. By this point, we classify that relationship as ‘highly-engaged’.
As well as these online interactions, we also track any interactions in the realworld, as those are as, if not more, valuable than online interaction.
Our bespoke services allow us to keep track of all these interactions so that you have full visibility of every connection you have made and can easily determine those that should be contacted next.
Is this personal branding?
Personal branding is one element of what we do, but it’s not everything.
Sure, we create content on your behalf and engage with your connections, but that’s not all.
If you think about personal branding on one side, with its focus on vanity metrics, and lead generation businesses on the other, then we sit in the middle. Why? Well, increased LinkedIn engagement is nice, but it doesn’t deliver the right relationships.
As your reach grows you inadvertently get further away from your target audience as LinkedIn shares your content a wider and wider set of connections, but there’s no way of telling if they’re the right ones or not for you and your network.
On the other end of the spectrum are lead generation agencies that treat your high value prospects the same as any old ad or email campaign, typically delivering high numbers of leads, but they convert poorly.
At Voir, we convert higher quality leads at about the same rate as your current referral efforts by focusing on the humans involved and their needs, not the likes or views they may produce.
How long will it take for me to see ROI?
Conversions are typically linked to contract value, and of course are influenced by whether you mostly wish to target new or existing relationships, with new relationships taking more time to convert.
As an example, for new relationships you can expect it to take 6-9 months for organic relationships to take hold, with an average client contract value of £100-250k per year. When targeting existing relationships, the value is the same, but this may take only 3-6 months to convert.
We do not guarantee a number of leads or lead conversions as a number of factors sit outside of our control, but in our experience most clients convert 10-15% of their highly-engaged prospects after 6 months and 20-30% after 12 months.
